I took some pictures in the Brooklyn Botanical Garden on April 23rd. I had gone there a week before to check out the cherry blossoms and took some of my regular lenses - polarizer etc - typical gear for such work - of course a macro lens...... well I did not see as well as I thought I would - I did not feel the images - I could not record them as I wanted - it was productive to a very small extent. On the 23rd I decided to return and try again but this time with a lens that is very difficult to use and is extremely powerful making the shooting even harder. I used a 600mm Sigma lens - on my digital camera that 600 mm becomes even more powerful. As I walked around I had to see this wide beautiful space and look for tone changes and details - I was very happy with the work I did and I am showing some of it here. As always - if you have ANY questions just ask me at any time. David
How pretty. That branch's flowers look like a heart.

Yes they are flowers - as I looked for a subject to photograph I paid close attention to the background because I knew it would be important to not distract from the central point. In this case they are cherry blossoms on another tree. Thank you for your words.

It's very sweet how the cluster of flowers look like a heart.
I agree with *Misantropia; you got a very good focus on the branch and the flower bunch.
Very nice. Instant favorite.
